Routine foot care for nails, hard skin, corns and general foot health, plus a short nail-cutting appointment if you can no longer manage your nails yourself.
General podiatry
A routine podiatry appointment is half an hour. Your podiatrist trims and files your nails, treats corns and hard skin, and checks the condition of your feet. Your first appointment is a thorough assessment and initial treatment for most foot concerns, including corns, ingrown nails, fungal nails or verrucae.
Hard skin and corns
Painless removal and advice on what is causing them, because they return where there is pressure.
Nail care
Cutting, thinning and caring for thick, difficult or painful nails.
Foot health checks
A look at skin, nails, circulation concerns and footwear, with clear advice.
Simple nail care: a shorter nail-cutting appointment
Many patients can no longer reach or care for their toenails. The NHS has reduced its podiatry provision for many people, so we created a shorter, cost-efficient nail-cutting service. Cutting gets harder with age, reduced mobility and eyesight, and nails can become hard and thick. Long or poorly cut toenails can dig into neighbouring toes or scratch your legs, causing sores and infections, and can be uncomfortable in shoes.
Cost
| First appointment (30 minutes) | £80 |
| Routine general podiatry (30 minutes) | £55 |
| Short appointment or nail cutting | £35 |
