Treatment on the Hands

Treatment to the Hands

Podiatrists are able to treat conditions that affect the hands and fingers similar to those of the feet.

These conditions include warts, nail ridges, ingrown or infected nails.

These are warts on the finger that were treated with a freeze spray and Verrutop.

The fingernail below had been treated with antibiotics and patient had been to A&E who were not able to help. In our clinic this finger was anaesthetised and then the pus was drained and cleared and the finger healed up well.

Finger - infection
Paronychia – an infection that has not responded to antiobiotics with pus under the nail.

Finger - healing and skin settling down
